We are Always in Search of Qualified Assistant Teachers:

Infant PM Assistant Teacher Position: NOT at THIS TIME - However, contact us anyway, we're always interested in meeting people who are interested in working with us.

 

Afternoons 12:30 PM - 6:00 PM - Duties include following the infant's regular schedule regarding nutrition, diapering and rest while speaking calmly to describe your actions to the child.  You will help them settle in and spend focused time with the children.  Prepare art supplies for the day and food preparation. Assist children with typical activities throughout an uninterrupted work period allowing the to give individual or small group lessons using the age-appropriate supplies and materials.  We spend much time outdoors, in all weather, except severe rain. Assist with dressing, toileting, lunchtime, naptime, nurturing each child with love and attention, etc.  This position is year-round.  

Co-Toddler Teacher: 

AMI or AMS Certified Teachers are welcome to apply.  At least 1 year experience as a Lead Montessori Toddler Teacher required. If you are looking for a Lead position in a top notch Montessori School, you must apply now. New England School of Montessori (NESM), an AMS Full Member school, NESM, is located on the CT shoreline between Bridgeport and New Haven, is in its 16th year. We offer a school-year Montessori curriculum for approximately 60 children, 15 months (Walking) to 12 years of age. We have one Toddler class, one primary class, and one 6-12 elementary class. A supportive, experienced staff and a knowledgeable, dedicated parent body make New England School of Montessori a special place to work.
