About Me

When not focused on NESM, I enjoy spending time with my family; my parents, my husband, two children, three sisters and 9 Nieces & nephews.  I also enjoy skiing, hiking, ATV riding and reading/audio books. I have recently become very interested in audio books and have logged hundreds of hours of books, such as educational, parenting, biographies, historical, romance and mystery. I developed a plan to open a Montessori school while observing children in a classroom environment in 1995 in Simsbury, CT.

I had finally found it!!! My lifelong passion!  I wish all children the right to a Montessori experience as I believe these are the most crucial years in all of one's life.  Especially those from Birth to Six, the personality is nearly completely formed by this time.  The personality is a part of a human that rarely changes throughout all of life.

Montessori offers more than an education, it illicits a lifelong passion for learning! Montessori teachers are the creme-de-le-creme.  They are trained to truly understand child development and to honor the child in all his/her experiences.
