NESM Families Helping Others

NESM Families,

I'm sure you heard about the Yale fellow who was tragically killed in his home this week while his wife and son were home.  He was Dr. Vajinder Toor and his wife is pregnant and due very soon.  He was a fellow so he was still in training.  He was the first in his family to attend college and medical school.  His wife stays home with their son and the family is facing a serious financial hardship.  The Yale medical community and the local community are collecting donations to assist his family at this time.  I was wondering if you would be willing to email the school community to see if anyone might be interested in making a donation?  No donation is too small; this is a collective effort.  Shawn is going to Yale Wednesday morning to drop off whatever donations we are able to collect so I can pick them up after school on Tuesday.  Checks can be made out directly to his wife, Parneeta Sidhu and cash donations are fine as well.
